Gregatron, that was awesome. Dead kittens indeed.

Now I don't know how things are at a 1/2 Eurobet table but one thing that seems to become obvious at my nano limits is to forget about the fancy plays in such situations. Thus my line would most likely have been to donk the flop, donk the turn and donk the river until nobody was left or I had extracted many bets. Oh, yeah, and raise when I have the opportunity. I simply cannot believe how many people will call continually in hands like this. Actually I might have donked the flop and then check-raised the turn to catch someone who thought the ace was a scare card for me, but that would have depended upon my mood.

The flop check was not so bad but you GOTTA do something on the turn once you slow play the flop.

It must be awesome to play Gamecube on that chainsaw...

But yeah, you have to raise somewhere. I'm fine with check-calling the flop, since you have the absolute nuts at that point. With the ace falling, I would check the turn (expecting BB to bet, since he was the PFR and could easily have an ace). Well, BB didn't bet, but CO did, and that's where I check-raise. Granted, BB may fold there, but you've got to raise somewhere, and the river could easily be checked through.

hmmm.. i can't really tell what you guys are trying to say.

I'll put some more chips out there next time. To add embarassment to injury, i was up against KTo and AK, so I could have got away with a C/R on every street probably.

I'd say this forum is all about tough love. Trust me, there's more dead kittens piled around me than you can imagine. Fortunately I'm a dog person...

Posting before reading others' responses here, but you've got to check-raise this flop. You've got the field trapped on a very drawy board. Who cares if they think you've got trip Js, they still think their flush and straight draws are live. This flop hits so many hands. Raise and don't stop.

I think check raising the flop is best. Most likely BB with bet out and you can trap the field. The board is pretty coordinated so flush draws and straight draws aren't going anywhere. Anyone with a Q or J will stay in and if the case Q is there, it will be going nuts.

There is no need to slowplay since people with a flush or straight draw will stay in and if they hit you'll get quite a few bets out of them.

A review:
c/r flop, bet bet bet

I will be clear: You have a very strong hand, and very likely the best hand. Bet/raise at every opportunity. No need to be fancy with checkraises and smooth-calls.

Follow this advice, and you will make more money this way.

I can't show Nero afterwards, as the lens on my camera won't go out that far (he was all over my apartment). I can show you the chainsaw though:

I have to ask, where does one get a Dolby Digital Surround Sound chainsaw?

Also, the only reason I'm not check/raising the flop is because this looks like one I'll probably be check/capping.
