Default I 3bet alot preflop (200nl)

Villan and me have not tangled. He is solid and a 2p2'er stats are 20/11.
I have 3bet alot past few hands so he might be making a stand and I have no intention of folding given history and image and blah blah.

PokerStars No-Limit Hold'em, $2 BB (6 handed) internettexasholdem.com

UTG ($228.05)
MP ($452.60)
CO ($44.45)
Button ($84.80)
Hero ($576.10)
BB ($380.05)

Preflop: Hero is SB with A[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img], K[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img].
UTG calls $2, MP raises to $9, 1 fold, Button calls $9, Hero raises to $41, 1 fold, UTG folds, MP calls $32, Button folds.

Flop: ($95) 7[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img], A[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img], 5[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] (2 players)
Hero checks, MP checks.

Turn: ($95) 5[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] (2 players)
Hero bets $77, MP raises to $215, Hero raises to $535.1,

Who likes a flat call on turn and cc river? AQ is not folding but I dont know if its in his preflop range. I think my flop check might have induced a bluff but if he has a hand like AQ i dont want to call turn and have him check river. THoughts?

Why did you bet the turn? I think this is quite gross. He never has AQ. its 77, AA, maybe AK or a bluff. No point in pushing the turn, he'll fold his bluffs and call when he's atworst tied.I think turn is a fold. But I would have checked to begin with.

Turn is a fold? No way, given their history even good solid players make stands with subpar hands. sure he might have 77 sometimes but aq or even something silly like aj is probably in his range at this point. I like flat call turn, c/c river.

I think turn is a fold

Given my image I am going to sink or swim with this hand. Folding it is a joke. I am trying to get most when I am ahead and when I am beat so be it. Personally why I took the line I did-

If he has Ax here (which is possible) he will check behind on river if I just call turn (and thus I lose a full buyin) If I push turn he will probally never fold Ax here.

If he is on a complete bluff or some wierd pocket pair, once I call turn I dont think he is going to continue to bluff river often enough to make turn call and cc river the right line. I thought he might check behind to often and not fire a 2nd barrel on river. I dont know thats my thought process though and maybe call turn and cc river is best line and I was tempted to originally do this but decided not to given reasoning above.

What it do snake.

I had AQ and actually gave you credit for a big hand, thought after you had check flop you either had AA, KK or QQ, figured the raise would get 2 of the 3 to fold.

I think you played it fine, I don't think there was any more value to be gained.

well you were good enough to lay down aq nice....question is
Whats better....
1. maximize value versus people who cant lay down ace x here (going all in on turn)
vs.
2. better to maximize value versus suspected bluff (call turn and cc river)

IN general I would say a fold is better in this spot, though obviously you played it very well in this case.

Against a 20/10 2p2er, I go with line 2. You really think he's going broke with AQ?
