Mutations detrimental to fertility are selected against.

Yes, by extinction. (I still can't help thinking you're being deliberately obtuse.)

[/ QUOTE ]

explain what you mean by extinction.

lol...think so? That would actually make me feel better.
I'd just decided to make a resolution to never respond to him. I'm not sure why I have been, anyway...

Skidoo doesn't believe in evolution.
He claims that it is logically impossible.
This is because he either a)is a troll, b)doesn't understand the mechanisms of genetics and refuses to try and understand them, c)can't follow basic deductive logic, or d)CAN understand logic and deduction and genetics, but is so vested in his belief that it would be psychological hurtful to change it. Frankly, I have no clue which.
The rest of us have been trying to convince him by presenting arguments, to which skidoo makes non-sensical replies. We then CONTINUE to try and present arguments...it's been kind of funny, actually.

What I believe is completely beside the point. Apparently that's the best you can do. I had hoped for more. Oh, well.

Luckily for progress, what you believe IS beside the point. But if this isnt about your beliefs, this thread, then what IS it about?

borodog you are not half as bright as you think you are . i challenge you to a duel

[/ QUOTE ]

Luckily not half as bright as I think I am seems to be sufficient.

By the way, I'm 91% on head shots from 65 feet. Still want to duel?

[/ QUOTE ]

You can throw a sword 65 feet?
