The new PLHA games are variance fests. Most players treat the omaha portion exactly the same as the holdem one. Saw one guy all-in with JJxx overpair...and be ahead (TP+gutshot or some rubbish).

I think a good PLO player could clean these things up. Just assume no one knows how to play omaha at all and adjust slightly.

Oh, so standard, PLHA holdem: CO raise QQ. Q[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img]Jx9[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] flop. Check/Bet/Raise/Push...CALL with Q8o. Turn, T, river 7. [censored] this crap. No wonder you're 400BB deep.

Yesterday: Spew. Today: Nit & get owned. Tomorrow: Quit.

Actually, tomorrow I get a Wii. It was going to be today but out of the 1800 they shipped, 4 got sent to the wrong depot by the courier. I run so good. Incidental beats: Wii might get here but Zelda might not and there is no S-Video cable available in the UK so it will probably look [censored] on my monitor anyway. As if 480p wasn't enough of a beat already.

W/E, once I have Zelda means less time wasted dropping buyins (money in ahead, money in behind, who gives a [censored] since neither wins).

awesome, you're in for a treat. I'm 6 dungeons in and I can say with confidence it is the best Zelda game yet.

Waiting till after xmas, and until I have enough hands to prove to myself I'm beating 200NL well. Parties everyday this week and playing good, solid poker are not going to mix.

Haven't you been playing nl200 for like a week.

Also, I do kinda like the fact that +$600 is a bad day, but at the same time, its a bit frustrating how high my expectations are, cos I'm rarely satisfied

that -$2000 swing at 400nl was pretty sick

The game selection at 600nl was really [censored], but was going to take a shot anyway tonight, even if it wasn't for muy downswing, and I'll probably take a few more shots soon...i mean, i got 40 BIs for it in my bankroll, and altho there were a lot of nitty players, still not that many good ones

db,
your swings are nothing . 1k is like nothing for 2/4. nice job on your rostucko though!

orange,

if you look at the graph again, you'll see that it was a -$2300 swing, not 1k, and to make it worse, was in like 500 hands odd
