You need a read here. Just because his stats are so loose does not mean he is retarded. You have said nothing about your stats or table image. You said nothing about whether he is a good player.
If he is good then you will see two pair, AA, KK, a set, or a str8 draw most of the time. A raise like this on the flop is rarely folding to a re-raise. The pot is too big. Rationale is if you have been playing tight then your raise defines your hand as being strong. No callers from SB, BB tells me no one wanted to see a good sized pot for a small calling bet. He is not playing you in that case to push you off of a strong hand, but to extract from you when he figures he is ahead. If he is good then I fold here. If he is bad then I figure I am ahead and expect to see A10 or K10. In that case I raise hoping to get it all in on the flop, or the turn. I think a flat call is the worst thing you can do here against a good player. It pays the draw, wastes money when you are behind, and gives you no more information in a readless situation. If you flat call then expect an even uglier turn decision. p.s. I think a min raise here is absolutely worthless. |
