$200 NL 4 handed, is this bluff ok?
Hey dudes I'd love to hear some opinions on how I played this.
Stacks: UTG $380 Button $1000 Hero (SB) $330 BB $200 Blinds are $2-$4 Reads: UTG is a good player, raises light preflop and usually shuts down to my 3-bets, which I haven't been doing against him very often. Button seems solid but could just be on a huge rush. BB is a donk, his call preflop could mean anything. Hero is dealt A [img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] J [img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] UTG raises to $12, Button calls, Hero raises to $32, BB calls, UTG folds, Button calls. Flop is 2 [img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] 2 [img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] 3 [img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] , pot is $110 Hero bets $96. Standard? Should I raise more preflop? Thanks. |

No need to bet that much, 2/3 pot is fine.
If I was going to 3-bet, I would have made it like ~$60 to go PF. |

I would rather 3bet 67s than AJo, but if you must (which I would not) raise more, say 38-40. I also don't think you need to bet as much on flop, 72ish does the same thing.

Re: $200 NL 4 handed, is this bluff ok?
i bet $75ish on this flop. No need to overbet on a paired board here.
If i at this table with you, id honestly put you on a big ace with a bet of $96, it screams please dont call me!!! |
