If he doesn't cap flop and lead turn we must bet turn.

Why did you bet the flop? I presume it was to find out where you were? Well he told you and you carried on anyway!!!

Check/call all the way down.

You must be kidding. You can't check flop with two big cards and two hearts. This is not a giving freecard competition.

Yep - I do danza.

I remember showing a similar hand to my former coach, Barry Tannebaum. I had fallen for the ploy that OP did and it was one of my first steps on the road to better hand-reading. Who 3 bets OOP preflop and the checks ANY flop? If anything, his check would make me more likely to fold face up. It screams monster!

If he checks the turn as well, then yes, I would bet and take it from there.

Once you bet and get raised, I'd see the turn and fold UI.

He's obv not c/ring the field with a worse hand than OPs, but players do check this flop w/ JJ-KK. If this were HU, i'm checking behind, and calling turn and river bets or betting when checked to, but here i think we should bet flop and fold turn.

Then if he only calls the turn, I'm pretty sure I'm ahead and will donk the river.

I should've folded the turn, possibly the flop, but since I called down I = fish. That sound pretty much right?

Against a normal player, you could fold the river for sure. If he was betting a flush draw that came in. If a gutshot straight he either made it or made two pair, or has a better Ace. However, there are some players who will play that way with TT or JJ or 88.
