Re: When backing somebody should bonuses/rakeback/FPPs be included?
I was wondering if you guys could help... I have been playing for quite a while and I am relatively new to this site. I have been playing on Absolute and I have currently accrued about $40 bonus ($260 to go!)so far playing the $1 NL tables. I have heard it mentioned quite a few times, but could someone please give me a lowdown on exactly what "rakeback" is and what its all about?
It would be very much appreciated. Thanks in advance. |

Re: When backing somebody should bonuses/rakeback/FPPs be included?
since it's your money the deal is up to you. that said, i don't think his deal is an unfair one. but if you want part of the rakeback he really has no choice but to give it to you.

Re: When backing somebody should bonuses/rakeback/FPPs be included?
I ran into this. I bought 25% of another 2+2'er action in a live game, where he hit a high hind bonus. Since I'm still not convinced live cards can even be assembled into a hand larger than two-pair (and then only on a 4-flush board) we hadn't discussed it ahead of time. Not really disagreeing, but also both wanting some surety to the outcome, we both agreed the best way was to poll 2+2 and abide by that. WAAYYYYY the best idea. The outcome may be arbitary, but at least it's binding.
