Re: How do you make tuna taste good?
for canned tuna, you want to add a touch of mayo, maybe some celery salt, mix well, throw it out the window and try to battle your gag reflex.
tuna steak is really good wrapped in bacon, with a touch of sesame oil and/or soy sauce, seared or grilled. |

Re: How do you make tuna taste good?
Don't know how nobody has posted this yet, but tuna and guacamole tastes amazing. Personally I would normally put it in corn taco shell but it works equally well on bread or a roll or straight out of the dish.
While this may sound gross, don't knock it until you've tried it. Also gives you some "good" fats and the protein and healthiness from the tuna. |

Re: How do you make tuna taste good?
People who dont like tuna love my tuna. I am the tuna master.
Make sure you buy solid white tuna, cause chunk light and chunk white are teh sucks. Get the tuna in oil and drain the oil before using. Add Hellman's Mayo (Has to be Hellmans) 4-C Seasoned Bread Crumbs (awesome secret ingredient .... i suppose Progresso or some other brand of seasoned bread crumbs would be fine) Make sure you add enough mayo that the bread crumbs get mixed solidly through the tuna a squirt of lemon juice a dab of mustard Chopped onions garlic powder black pepper pickle relish Celery is optional Serve on a sandwich with lettuce, add extra mayo to the bread if you would like. Carrots on the side is a big plus as well. Whatever bread you choose, it must be toasted. i prefer An everything Bagel, but white bread, whole wheat bread, rye bread, or pumpernickel are all fine for tuna as long as they are toasted |

I can't believe no one has mentioned horseradish/wasabi yet. Mayo, dijon and horseradish - salt pepper to taste.

Re: How do you make tuna taste good?
tuna with mac and cheese is good. even better if its home-made baked mac n cheese with breadcrumbs on top.
for a sandwich i usually throw in horseradish, onions, and hot peppers (banana or peppercino) and grill it with cheese. |
