are these sort of bets a waste of money?
MP is 42/11/2.5
I never know whether to bet out top pairs, no kickers on the flop. Party Poker No-Limit Hold'em, $50NL Hero (6 handed) Hand History Converter Tool from FlopTurnRiver.com (Format: 2+2 Forums) Preflop: Hero is BB with 6[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img], 8[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img]. SB posts a blind of $0.25. UTG calls $0.5, MP calls $0.5, CO calls $0.5, Button calls $0.5, SB (poster) completes, Hero checks. Flop: ($3) 7[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img], 2[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img], 8[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] (6 players) SB checks, Hero bets $2, UTG folds, MP calls $2, CO folds, Button folds, SB folds. Turn: ($7) 4[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] (2 players) Hero bets $4, MP raises to $12, Hero folds. |

Re: are these sort of bets a waste of money?
I'd rather check call the flop I think, betting into this many people, its going to be hard to see a SD when someone comes along. If someone calls you are almost certainly no good and leave yourself vulnerable to being outplayed, as your hand is very weak.
As played obv fold, but I think you should have checked the flop, and as played, the turn also. |
