fold here, you don't have implied odds. You need roughly 4:1 to hit your card, 13x4 = 52, his stack combined w/ the pot needs to be AT LEAST 52 to justify a "call"(this is just to break even). But keep in mind that he might not have a high pocket, once you call, action stops when his AK/AQ is on a draw. Then you actually didn't have the implied odds to start with.

People suggests all in. If he is representing AA/KK/QQ, he will call you 95% of the time. Sometimes he probably has AK/AQ. AJ is unlikely, but probable. He will probably fold with those hands to your all in. There are more possibilities for AK/AQ in the deck. Looking at the pot size right now, you would need to be successful roughly 3 out of 4 times to be profitable. And of course, you also have 3:1 chance of hitting your draw. If there is any reason not to believe he has high pockets, an all-in could be easily profitable, assuming the opponent is not a calling station.

Unless you got a read on the villian, fold here.

"reraising to 9 times BB OOP represents something big here."

Sorry, I disagree here... a minraise is a minraise.

Here on the 2+2 boards, Oh Exalted Mod Of uNL, we have a couple of terms we use to describe players who continue with hands like this after villain's flop bet.

Are my implied odds there?

no, and that should be how you look at this hand at decision time.

pf is fine. I'm curious about the 5x initial raise tho, whats that all about?

OT: Christmas avatars rock. LMAO at yours and tufat's. AJ's makes me feel warm, lol.

Not raising on the button after 1 limper with T9s is a horrible play and one that's costing you $$. Calling the $2 is very standard. We have position and we are getting great implied odds and we show people that they can't just minraise us to get us to fold hands.
