Default FT 600 vs Jamougha

Jamougha has been playing very aggressive in position and i have been 3 betting him a decent amount in and out of position. Hes been calling me about a third of the time but we havent gone to showdown. He likely views me as a decent tag.

Effective stacks: 600

Jam raises to 21 on the btn and i repop AKo to 70, he calls

Flop: Ts 7s 4h
(I have no spade)

I bet 115 into the 140 pot and Jam calls

Turn: Kh

I check(?), and Jam checks behind

River: Qs

I check and Jam bets a little less than pot and I fold

I think preflop and the river are kind of standard, but checking the flop is a viable option, though I think this gives up a lot vs Jam. Betting the turn could be an option as well.

If you have any bluff in you I'd just shove the turn. Does he think you could do this with AJ/AQ/spades/98/65/QJ/AT?

Yeah

I think he thinks that I am capable of something like this. I dont recall a situation where I have done it to him, but ive played a fair amount with him and hes got to have seen me make a move like that on someone else.

Your history is not quite right, for the record;

Full Tilt Poker
No Limit Holdem Ring game
Blinds: $3/$6
6 players
Converter

Pre-flop: (6 players) Hero is Button with ? ?

UTG calls, 2 folds, Hero raises to $27, SB folds, BB raises to $96, UTG folds, Hero calls.

Flop: T[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] 5[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] 7[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] ($201, 2 players)
BB bets $165, Hero calls.

Turn: K[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] ($531, 2 players)
BB checks, Hero checks.

River: Q[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] ($531, 2 players)
BB checks, Hero is all-in $402

Yeah I probably misplayed the turn.

I'm just about never going to have a flush here fwiw and I would be unlikely to call pre with QT so your hand has the same value as on the turn.

if you think jam is a good player (i think he is fwiw), you should shove turn.

We're behind QQ and KQ (if you play that to a 3bet) once that river hits
