correct.

allowing everyone else by rewarding them pretty much screws me out of value for having the foresight to make sure I get this ahead of time.

I will not be thrilled if I were to lose value on becoming a Supernova after jamming in all my hands in December to get there.

I don't think this is excessively selfish.

Leave it how it is.

That's what you guys get for playing at Party before the ban. I played at Stars all year and am glad I have been rewarded with Nova status.

I've been a loyal Stars player all year as well, but your sense of entitlement is retarded. Reward status should be based on volume of rake generated only, not whether you've been playing at Stars longer.

I don't think it's selfish at all to want Stars to abide by the rules they created in the first place.

As for the argument that "I would keep my Nova status anyway" that doesn't fly with me because more Nova members makes my membership worth less (it's already worth far less as it is because of all of the new people having come over from Party and actually working for nova like they should have to, and Stars not adding any additional perks to Nova membership despite the unexpected player influx)... although I am confident they will fix this in the new year.

You knew what the rules were for PokerStars membership when the VIP club was created. If you wanted to be Supernova, why didn't you start working at it from the start like I was? We both know the answer.

What is the deal? Honestly, what difference does it make how many people are SuperNova, as long as your membership benefits stay the same? Reef, I've sent the the e-mail to Stars support. I like the idea.

well, the freerolls are part of the value.

Also, if they just let in any old supernova players that could really hurt the quality of the games I suspect which DOES also hurt the value.

I always considered part of the value to be that there were clearly going to be a lot of 2+2 types who knew they wouldn't make it and thus would not be 8-tabling right along with me.

great argument.

besides, even with my proposed system you would still have your nova status.

They all like the freerolls and don't want you spoiling it for them.

[/ QUOTE ]

yep

edited to add: they made the rules over 11 months ago....waiting till the last month to start bitching, wanting them to change the rules...is just gay...you knew the rules in jan...why didn't you bitch then?

Oh wait...we all know the answer to that..you weren't putting in the hands at stars like I was, you were putting them in at party.
