hit gutshot on paired board
Full ring 5/10 nl on bodog
Fish (40/8) with $1500 behind limps in, I raise to $50 with T [img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] 8[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img]. Big Blind (13/5) with $1000 behind calls and so does the fish. I cover both. Pot is $155 and the flop comes Q[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] 9[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] Q[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img]. Both check and I make a continuation bet of $80. Only the BB calls. Pot is $315 and the turn card is J[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img]. BB checks and I bet $175 and he check raises to $550. Should I push against this nit? |

I tend to bet a bit bigger on the flop, but I doubt it makes much difference. I would have a hard time getting away from this, but QJ/99 certainly seem possible. I would probably call, and usally call river. I think you see KQ/AQ enough. |

Re: hit gutshot on paired board
13/5 propably folds QJ and even KQo from the big blind. But will play every Q like this since he isn't folding trips. So all added up he has KQs or AQ fairly often.
Shove turn since he only has 400$ behind. And then reload. |

Re: hit gutshot on paired board
Is raising a 40/8 limper fish all that good an idea?
(not a criticism - just trying to learn) Also, how do you get PT stats at Bodog - I thought Bodog was non-PT compatible (?) |

Re: hit gutshot on paired board
I'd fold. He has 99 here about always.
