Re: NL50: Help me play this flopped str8 OOP
I like a call with that many people behind and the minraise/minbettor on your right. If I was going to raise, it'd be to about $4.
My choice would vary dep on the table and my mood. I've heard Bodog has some aggro players so I'd like to get a raise or call in dep on action behind me. SB's line seems to provoke action on my tables. |

Re: NL50: Help me play this flopped str8 OOP
There are a lot of scary turn cards that will kill your action and shut down anyone willing to get it in with you... get as much money in on this flop as you can.
Lots of limpers could mean two pair or a pair and a gutshot type holdings. Raise to 5 and pray for a reraise. Re-evaluate the turn based on action. If no one calls your flop raise, then there was no money to be made on this hand anyway. |

Re: NL50: Help me play this flopped str8 OOP
the donk bet screams to me of a donk who is trying to draw cheaply. I think the possibility that he could be drawing to a better hand than you with AT or AJ you should charge him a lot to draw. I have a principle taken from Super System that if I don't have the nut straight I will charge whoever is in the hand with me to draw to it. I would pot it and maybe even overbet the pot. Big hand big pot.

Results....
I pressed the "pot" button, which made the raise to $5.50...and everyone folded. Meh.

Re: NL50: Help me play this flopped str8 OOP
call... and hope someone else reraises..... if that doesnt work, there are no turn cards that beat you, just ones that make a split more likely... soget aggro on the turn.
