BB vs SB
10/20 Prima folded to SB who raise to 70, I defend with A7o.....bad or good? Anyways (I dont have a converter please post a link for one so I can be better in future hands)
Flop : 7s 3c 2h he bet 110 i raise to 310 he calls Turn: 9s he checks I bet 400 he calls River : Ac I bet 600.........I get confused sometimes in hands like this because I know I have to bet but I puke when I get over the top all in'd, just like to know the consensus on my bets here whether turn or river should be bigger or smaller or checked. |

Re: BB vs SB
I'm not big on the whole notion of defending the blinds with hands that are easily dominated like an A-rag and you certainly don't want to be playing a big pot with it but you managed to make it a big pot somehow....
Once you see the flop it's increasing difficult to not invest money into it, you've made a loose call with marginal rubbish and hit TPTK but an overpair is a reasonable conclusion, pocket 9's by his action on the turn is highly logical which is why if you weren't prepared to shove on the river why are you even betting it? Turn bet is too small, it looks weak as hell as does your river bet. I'd be very interested to know what he had? |
