Default Three bet - Fold

No reads. No PT stats.
3/6, 6 Handed

I have black Aces in SB
PF: Fold, MP limps, CO raises, Fold, I 3B, BB folds, and MP and CO call.

Flop: 9h7d6d

I bet, they both call.

Turn: Kd

I bet, MP calls, CO raises, I three bet, MP 4 bets, CO folds and so do I.

Ok?

Looks alright. WF - WTF? If I go on a hiatus will the Bills win the SB?

How much equity do you think we have when CO raises the first time around? Are you folding to a cap from CO? 3 bet is probably good as it looks like CO has a king+diamond as most would raise a FD+overs on the flop, but I would probably just calldown because I'm a pussy.

Turn fold looks good. I see people take this line on the flop with junk but I don't think they do that on the expensive street.

I guess the pot is so damn big when the action gets back to you on the turn that it really does matter whether or not MP comes along, despite the small number of unique outs he probably has.

But, jeez, I'll admit that I wouldn't do this with no PT stats and no reads.

Does everyone like the turn 3bet? What about alternate lines, like a flat call and donk any non-d, non-K river? Any other alternates?

There is a point to it, but in real life I would probably just call.

It's an odd spot, though, since prior to his 3-bet, it really does seem like the turn raiser might've just spiked a king.

Anyway, though, if I just called the turn, I wouldn't even bother donking the river. The pot's so big that I'm not looking for value so much, at this point.

Edit: Plus, if CO just has a big king, he'll probably bet it on a river blank anyway.

Yeah, the turn call + river donk line can feel like a comfortable hedge, but I think it's rarely optimal at these limits w/out a read that villian likes to free sd raise. If you're not calling down the first raise (which I may have done in practice) I think the 3bet is a good play to put pressure on MP in a big pot on a 3flush board.
