That explains a little..Thanks guys.
I was wondering why there were so many teams I recognized in the tourney...weird. As for YSU running the table...I shall accept your "I was wrong" statements following the ISU victory |

ballin, I think that JMU/YSU game was for the championship. I would not be surprised at all to see YSU win it from here on out. Of course App St., UMASS & Montana probably have something to say about that. It was definintely a shame that JMU and YSU faced each other in the first round, but what can we do. Rascati graduates this year and those are some big shoes to fill next season. Hopefully Landers is ready. [/ QUOTE ] After talking to the family of some of the football players... they are really high on Landers. Everyone on the team is excited for him to take over the helm. Rascati was great, but it's time to move on. As a side note: Akeem Jordan may be one of the best players I've ever seen at this level. LeZotte will be back too, it's all good. As for the YSU game... I was there. I'm so depressed I still don't want to talk about it. |

[/ QUOTE ] Yeah, I watched this game with probably about 150 other alumni (maybe more) at the Rhodeside Grill in Arlington (including 2+2ers WesMantooth and Tyler Durden). It was crazy. Those SoCon refs were terrible. |

Even though I'm depressed as hell about the JMU game, I'm still excited for some I-AA football today. Can't wait to watch the App State game on ESPN2. Really wish I could somehow get the Umass/UNH game.
My picks (I know, really creative picking all the seeds): UMASS ASU YSU (although this one can really go either way) Montana I've been to YSU and ASU this year. Boone is a very difficult place to go and play. I can't see crap state (:-P) losing there. That team, however, does have weaknesses. They can lose, although I expect them to make it to the championship game. YSU is a tough place to play at, but not nearly as hard as ASU. They don't sell out and the way their stadium is built the sound doesn't really "stack up." YSU is a team with a lot of flaws and I don't see them making it to the championship. |

Homer pick: ISU over YSU.
I assure you that we can beat this team. Poor coaching had a lot to do with our loss at home against them this year. Assuming they stick to what works for ISU, as opposed to going off the beaten path, I think ISU wins a close one. But I'm a homer, as said. |

I watched the championship game 2 years ago at Baileys in Arlington and the whole bar was JMU alum. |

UNH 17 - UMASS 14 at halftime. Good game so far. It's on CN8 if you have Comcast. That fumble on the 2 yard line by UMASS was huge.
I'm surprised at how little UNH has thrown the ball so far. Anyway, 2nd half should be exciting |
