Definitely bet now. Both for value and to stop QdQx/JdJx from taking a free one

Looking back I definately should have bet the turn. I checked and he bet 500 which I called. The turn was the Q [img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img]. I checked, he shoved, and I folded.

Jesus. Dude don't call the turn, CR if you must check it. Oh river was a Q. Blech, fold is probably ok.

CR turn seems really bad to me. All it does is fold out QxQd and JxJd which are both drawing to 11 outs. If the river blanks I don't think he is going to bet again.

And I don't think there is anyway I can call the river.

I think betting and checking are equally fine. As luckychewy says, villain could very well have QQ/JJ.

Turn c/c looks fine. I think betting and checking is fine for the same reasons that betting/checking on flop is fine, the 3rd diamond really doesn't change things that much. I dislike a c/r, because you're really only worried about a pocket pair w/ one diamond, so he has 11 outs @ most, you inflate the pot w/ the c/r when you're really not tied to the hand yet and set yourself up to lose a huge pot if your AA is not best right now. If you were in position, i'd more like a raise.

After the c/c, I would bet/fold river or c/f river depending on what the river card is.

Imo, you played the hands about as well as you could.
