I think you're rulling this one out too soon, I think if you chose a beer like 8.0abv steal reserve or something like that you could do this with beer.

I don't know what I'd drink if I had to do this on a bet, but it would prob just be some sort of liquor, prob a whiskey in a glass.

That isn't beer, its malt liquor. A lot depends on your size as well. I think I could put down 8-10 beers in an hour. Toss in a couple shots and I think I make it.
