I think you have to bet here. What makes you think he will bet the river? Unless he has an ace in his hand, he is just going to check behind. On your best day, he will raise you and you can re-raise.

Edit: Just read the rest of the post. I still think I re-raise the river. Several players at this level can not let go of AK in a situation like this.

Grunch: I know this isn't the point of this post, but c/r the flop and it's not close (but donk if the fish was between you and villain). Check-raising this river sucks, he would have probably checked through the turn with AK and he is unlikely to have AQs for obvious reasons. Once he calls the turn c/r TT is unlikely because you would probably be 3bet there, so if he raises the river you're probably looking at AA more often than not.

Problem is, he doesn't have AK.
