Peppermill is improving. New manager and it looks like more games are being offered. NL going almost all the time, they try to get an omaha game going.

I was in Reno recently, and by far my favorite place to play was the Eldorado. There was usually a 1-2 300 max NL game going, sometimes two tables, both in the afternoon and evenings. Also, later in the evening they spread the "Big Game", NL with 1-2-5 blinds and 10 to come in, no max. I talked to a couple regulars and the 1-2 games seem to pretty much always be going, or if not the interest list fills quickly and one starts up in short order, and the Big Game whenever there is interest, which is nightly (or nearly). Also, the room is nice, a separate enclosure off the main gaming floor, and the staff was great.

I checked out nearly all the poker rooms in Northern Nevada while I was there, and I highly recommend the Eldorado. I'll definitely be playing there on my next trip to Reno.
