Is the Samsung 204B the exact same monitor as the Dell 2007FP?

I recently ordered a Dell 2007FP (from the Party points store) and am looking for a second. Is the Samsung 204B (availble from the Stars points store) the exact same monitor?

The Samsung is a little brighter. It's casing is also smaller. It feels cheaper, but looks better.

From what I recall from a CNET review, the Samsung is a slightly better monitor...but they are approx. the same.

I have 2 204B's. I highly recommend it. But I think they are overpriced on stars at 36,000 FPPs. Newegg has them for $360.

i have one of each. the 2007 has much better viewing angle and the color & backlight is more even throughout the whole monitor.

there are like 2 different lcd panels that are manufactured and companies buy those and shove them in a casing. it is often the case that they would use the exact same panel in very different brands. probably not here though.
