is this line weak? I had no read on the guy and I dont' know why ppl would limp raise, unless they had a big hand.

Re: overpair against limp raise??
Don't make your raises so small. You're giving him excellent pot odds to continue preflop.

Re: overpair against limp raise??
Assuming $10 stacks.
Against a standard player. If i call a limp re-raise with 99 I am looking to flop a set, if not i get out the way, it's too often a big pair imo. |

Re: overpair against limp raise??
I agree TT+ beats you, you don't have odds to hit a 9 onthe turn -limp reraise is likely to be a big hand alot of the time -he'll probably bet weakly the flop then bet big on the turn.
I call preflop reraise (5/10 rule -see uNL/SSNL master sticky) with good implied odds based on his limp reraise. he may be bluffng with the limp reraise so take notes if he flashes his cards. |

Seems like an easy fold....limp/reraise=monster at these stakes

Re: overpair against limp raise??
A limp/minraise is usually just a donk bluff. A guy did that to me before and he had K7s. But in this sit. I think it's a good hand that he has.
