Re: Moved from NL400 to NL100, Some observations
[ QUOTE ]
You're correct here. I didn't quite word it correctly in my original post. What I meant is in spots where I would push a small edge b/c I think I have a decent amount of FE (in NL400), I might elect to play a lot slower in NL100 and peel a card b/c I stand a good chance of stacking him anyway. With my adjusted style for NL100 I am still making about $110/hour (RB incl.) 12-tabling, but variance has been almost non-existant thru 30k hands. I think my biggest downswing has been 3 or 4 buyins, which isn't much at all. [/ QUOTE ] Wow. I'm killing myself at 50nl playing, IMO, like you play at 400nl. Not totally, but in a lot of ways. I wouldn't mind hearing a bit more on your overall stragegy on the 100nl games...please. |

Re: Moved from NL400 to NL100, Some observations
[ QUOTE ]
[ QUOTE ] [ QUOTE ] I look for tables full of 35/20 or 40/30s. [/ QUOTE ] I look for these players and often have to sit with 1/2 in the blinds/onmy left [/ QUOTE ] Stop doing that! seat selection is as important as table selection imo. You don't *have* to sit anywhere, if you're patient good seats open up. Once you've got a fat roll and are confident you are the best player at the table no matter where you sit - then you can start caring less about seat selection. [/ QUOTE ] Your right matrix - I do need to be more picky with seat selection - I should have qualified that I will only have them on my left if there's some others on my right. But your right -too often I wait for ages get a seat at a juicy table and end up sitting in a crap seat. When I should just dump it and wait. |
