Re: [MUST SEE]******* BBC- Panorama On Texas Hold\'em.
[ QUOTE ]
Matthew seemed to play at 500NL right from the start, even though he had 4 buyins. Does anyone know if he played lower limits, because he wasn't certain to double the money playing at that level. I noticed a copy of Miller's/Sklansky's new No limit book appeared in it too. [/ QUOTE ] got up to about 8k, was playing 100nl and then 200nl then 500 and 1k etc... I regularly played higher so thought 10 buyins was enough for the lower limits. I think it was unfortunate for the show to end on a bad note as it was close to the end of filming that I lost it. Those 2 last hands shown I had 78 vs FD and TT vs 33 and he turned a 3. It could have easily gone the otherway. I am pretty good friends with Declan and have met up with him a couple of times since the show. I am pretty sure it was his own money and he now plays 25nl/50nl on PArty poker. The show was either gonna be a big win or a big lose and I assured them that for that to happen higher stakes would need to be played. I knew that I could lose playing 1k nl with just 6k but I probably have an edge on those tables as I play them regularly and it would be more likely for us to win than to lose. True |

Re: [MUST SEE]******* BBC- Panorama On Texas Hold\'em.
How did the BBC find you and ask you to do the program? Were you paid a salary or was it just expenses? Awesome job though.
