You played the first hand fine. The second hand you probably had no reason to call on the flop with a player calling ahead of you and to act behind you. Once you made this mistake, you played the hand fine.

If BB bets out and everyone calls you are 'trapping' the field with 2nd pair, no kicker. Doesn't make sense. Let BB knock out other players with whatever he's got, be it a higher pair or UI overs. |

Hand #1: c/c... use your relative position on the pre-flop raiser to your advantage. You don't want to pay more than a single small bet.
Hand #2: Possibly the worst flop call I have ever seen someone post... |

So I agree that the flop call on the second hand is pretty bad, but I don't think it's as terrible as others might. Given that I'm getting 1:14 to call, along with a backdoor flush + backdoor straight + BB may not even have an ace (I've seen him donk on A-high boards every street OOP with PP's as low as 55), my K-Q outs might still be good, and given how loose MP is, I'm probably still ahead of his range, though I still don't know what SB has yet to do. It may not be pot odds, and implied odds probably suck, but I think it's closer than it looks. Thoughts?
