Default Re: How can a TAG appear to be a LAG and vice versa?

How long are the sessions you are playing?

if you mix up lag/tag your opponents view of you depends mostly on what they have seen you do for the past 30 mins - not what the 3k of mined hands on you their PA HUD is displaying...

You shouldn't "appear" to be LAG sometime you should BE a LAG - certain situations call for LAG play e.g. teh villains at the table are all too loose preflop and too tight postflop and fold too much to CB's and 2nd barrels - LAG IT UP!

just make sure you aren't putting lots of money in too often on later streets with air cos they will catch hands now and then. Also make dam sure if you have a monster that you play it as fast as the other rubbish you've been raising and hope that this time they got fed up and play the Sherrif with TPGK or similar.

e.g. #2 when there is a LAG/maniac on your left and you don't want to leave the table TAG it up moreso than normal but then play the hands you do play extra fast to resteal pots or flop an good old fashioned monster and wheel out rope-a-dope.

Don't sit at a table for 90 mins and continually play the same ABC style - develop gears and switch into them sometimes.

If you land at a table and go nuts for 2 orbits expect action - if you then fold everything for 20 mins you won't get much action when you do raise.
