Re: NL/LHE Skill / Winrate poll
Almost everybody thinks that no limit is more complicated than limit, but it is only because they do not understand how incredibly complicated it is to get the limit game right, the small bets and small calls makes it a much more complicated game due to the wide hand ranges present all the time. I now play only no limit, but I will forever love limit (especially the full ring) for being the game that really provided a tough challenge, no limit is simple in comparison.

Re: NL/LHE Skill / Winrate poll
As far as building a roll and hourly rate, I think SSHL is best for the smaller stakes players - this is factoring in rakeback and bonuses - which clear much quicker in limit short handed.
For raw BB/100, I imagine SHNL to be the most profitable. I'm a SH limit player and haven't really worked on my NL game much. |

Re: NL/LHE Skill / Winrate poll
Think itīs easier to make 100-200/hour in no limit than limit, but might be wrong as I started out in limit and alot of the same stuff applies in both or any form of poker for that matter.

Re: NL/LHE Skill / Winrate poll
I think limit is more difficult than nl. Not sure then whether 6max or fr is more difficult. Limit seems to require knowledge of far more different situations than nl, which in turn requires some additional knowledge of bet sizes. Still, I think overall limit is harder to play perfectly. People seem to think your actions don't matter because "it's only 1 bet". But precisely for that reason it is very important not to loose one bet more or win one less.
You make most money on 6max as you can exploit your opponents mistakes more often. And at that probably in no limit as their mistakes potentially cost much more. |
