Most of you are probably aware of freepay.com, which allows you to get a variety for free things for referring a certain number of friends. For example, you and 5 friends do an offer and you can get a $300 gift card.

This seems like a very good opportunity to make money. One of the offers is Blockbuster.com, which cost $10 the first month and you only have to sign up for a month to get credit for the offer. Suppose you paid 5 friends $25 to sign up, then your total expenditure would be $135 for a $300 gift certificate.

Has anyone ever tried to take advantage of this site like this? I hear that the deal is legit, and the site has been around for a long time. Is this not a way to make quite a bit of money with little effort?
