I guess you ran into AA or something, but he does this with a wiffed AK as well, so call.

At first look, I thought this was an easy call but after I re-visited this hand after I was reviewing some of my tournaments, I ran it through Poker Stove.

Putting him on a range of hands I thought were possible.

===================================
320,760 games 0.062 secs 5,173,548 games/sec

Board: Ts 7s 5d
Dead:

equity (%) win (%) tie (%)
Hand 1: 50.2282 % 49.34% 00.88% { QQ }
Hand 2: 49.7718 % 48.89% 00.88% { TT+, 77, 55, ATs+, KsTs, QsTs, JsTs, 98s, ATo }
===================================

Also, he was an UTG raiser, and my re-raise shows some serious strength pre-flop. The flop bet does not phase him, I think it requires some thought.

Likely hands I'm ahead:
JJ, ATo, Axs flush draw

Hands that crush me:
AA,KK,TT,77,55

If my range I put him on is reasonable, I'm at about 50/50 equity according to Poker Stove. Folding leaves me over 900 chips when we're still at the first level with 10/20 blinds. I have no blind pressure at all. So I either double up, busto, or am left with 900 chips and still in decent shape.

I think there are reasonble arguments for calling and folding.

dude even if your range is reasonable which I dont think it is folding a 50/50 getting almost 3:1 on your money is really bad.

To quote a respect member of this forum. "This is the easiest call ever"
with 50% pot equity on the flop as you stated
Fold if you hate money
ICM = +$7.83 (3.91%) at the buyin stated

If you only had 30% pot equity then u could make a case for folding.
