Default ($27) 88 with 2 limpers, big stack in front

UTG and MP2 are donkeys (as evidenced by their open limp given the blinds and stack sizes) so I'm confident I'm ahead of their range. Is this too reckless with the SB big stack in front?

PokerStars No-Limit Hold'em Tourney, Big Blind is t150 (8 handed) Hand History Converter Tool from FlopTurnRiver.com (Format: 2+2 Forums)

MP1 (t3110)
MP2 (t1265)
Hero (t2615)
Button (t1080)
SB (t2975)
BB (t1505)
UTG (t505)
UTG+1 (t445)

Preflop: Hero is CO with 8[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img], 8[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img].
UTG calls t150, <font color="#666666">2 folds</font>, MP2 calls t150, <font color="#CC3333">Hero raises to t2615</font>

Are you sure the short stack isn't setting you up? Why wouldn't he push if he was going to play at all unless he wanted action?

Well your other option is to limp for set but then SB shoves and you have fold. So take your pick. This spot sucks big time.

Being third in chips with a nice hand with just the button and blinds to get past. With that I wouldnt push but I would put in a nice raise to isolate the two limpers who at worst case puts you at 2100 chips. I say about 600 here, covers them and leaves you an exit strategy if you get action from the remaining players.

Because he's a complete donkey who has no idea of position or how to play shortstacked!
