A) Is open-limping with 97s really bad or just kinda bad?
B) Is the call on the turn gross? He had played the hand pretty fast so I figured I might stack him if I hit a flush.
C) Is the blocker bet/bluff on the end spewy? Should I just c/f here?

First off, effective stacks are 100 BB, so this isnt a deep hand at all.

I hate open limping SB. Raising and folding PF both seem OK.

I could see CR'ing this flop. Lots of guys like to raise any SB open complete, you can take the pot a lot on the flop.

And I hate river. Your bet isnt for value IMO, its not really gonna fold out anything you beat and not much worse is in his range that calls.

It's pretty bad. It doesn't disguise your hand well. Raising or folding is always better

If he's decent, I dont think he's stacking off. When i see open limpers like this, i put them on SC's or small pairs. maybe weak connectors

It's bad... It's getting called everytimg because it looks like you missed. It's very spewy. C/f is ok, c/calling small bets is also ok. I dont think you can call over $10

Raise preflop - 97s is a monster I raise it from nearly all positions. C-bet flop and c-c turn. Check-fold the river.

A) Not Bad. Deepstack means seeing more flops. This isn't necesarily a bad hand to speculate with.

B) Starting to smell a bit bad. Basic poker thinking about chasing non-nut flush draws on paired boards springs to mind.

C) Probably my favorite of all your actions throughout the hand. He raises = easy fold. He calls your probably fooked. He folds = your a demented genius.

Would you have c/c a $15bet on the river with your 2nd pair? If yes, then it is the perfect blocking bet.

Tea - I was thinking about c/r'ing the river, I had put him on a big ace all hand and would've called $15. You don't think a flush draw here is good with the action as it is?

I think the mistake pf might've been the result of me sucking at multi-tabling and clicking the "Call .40" checkbox.
