I think this is fiction. It is a clever way to promote a new poker site. That is my suspicion. They wouldn't have gotten all those shots taping a 'real' event.

Re: Bet life savings on one roulettte spin!!
[ QUOTE ]
This is a concept for a new game show. The contestant liquidates his collective assets, flies to vegas, and puts it all on either one hand of blackjack or one spin of roulette. My friend, who had inquired about becoming a contestant, was contacted for the show. He was seriously considering it and I was putting the pressure on him to do it. He owns a flooring business and two houses so it would have been a considerable sum. His reasoning for doing the show: He believed that they'd never allow someone to ruin themselves finacially on television, and that he'd be reimbursed. He bitched out in the end edit I'll find out the name of the show from him tomorrow if anybody cares [/ QUOTE ] It was called 'double or nothing' i think |

Re: Bet life savings on one roulettte spin!!
I am not impressed at all.
Now if he had not only bet his life savings, but put himself into debt for the same amount and put it all on a colour... |
