22 - Easy value bet?
Villian is 25/4, looks fairly passive. BB is like 60/20 or so.
Flop: I was planning on C/Ring what usually seems like an automatic button bet here. Flop: 5[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] 4[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] J[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] (3SB, 3 players) Hero checks, BB checks, UTG+1 checks. I bet/fold flop.
Villian's WtSD would have to be pretty damn high for me to bet this river. I'd probably c/c the river. I think it would be marginally better than c/f. |

I bet/fold flop. [/ QUOTE ] Probably the better line... I like to do this occasionally to punish those guys that limp, autobet on the button. Maybe its not a good strategy against a guy like this. I also do this sometiems to extract more on a board like this where I think people will almost always fold to my bet (except when I am beat). But again, maybe thats meant for the more aggressive bluffaholic type players. One final note I didn't include, villian did pause for a few seconds before calling, which change my mind from check-fold to bet-fold. |
