My apologies on not being a perfectionist.

He's right, though. "Movie review" got my hopes up that I'd see a thoughtful review of the film. Is there really nothing else you can tell us besides it was "creepy"?

MOD HAT: Do not put 'Review' in the title unless you say a little more than the equivalent of 'it was good/bad/<adjective>'. That sucks.

Out of about 20 people who I've discussed the movie with, the ones that thought it was creepy, and they all thought it was a really creepy movie, were religious types, or believed in god and the devil at least. The one who was on the borderline thought it was creepy solely because it was based on a true story. Interesting, I guess.

The rest found her girations and gibberish mildly amusing. Im in that boat, seriously, if satan is the most powerful evil thing in the universe, he doesnt have anything better to do than make a girl wig out and make family life uncomfortable for her family? I had the argument that "it's scary because it just shows that the devil could exist." thrown back in my face multiple times. These are also the people who say they had uncles who hit a demon while driving on the highway and he started speaking in tongues, but what do I know. I'm the skeptic type.

I found it pretty funny they straight jacked the characater Janet Venable (Laura Linney) from Primal Fear and said, HEY THAT CHARACTER WAS AWESOME SHE SHOULD BE IN THIS MOVIE TOO.

Actually, my favorite part of the movie was seeing Colm Feore in it, as he plays one of my favorite horror movie villians of all time: Andre Linoge from Stephen King's Storm of the Century.

The movie was more of a psychological thriller then a horror flick IMO

Tis true, but I assume most people will categorize it under the "horror" genre.

The part where Emily started seeing the demons scarred the crap out of me. From that point on I was kind of on the edge of my seat waiting for the next shocker. Other than the shock value of some ofthe scenes the movie was pretty lame. I won't watch it again, but it was good to once.
