Default BB with second pair

Villain is 36/9/.95

Jam or call down?

Or, jam and fold to resistance?

What would be your standard, default line against an unknown in this common situation?

This is far closer to a fold than a Jam IMO.

Hands that are raising from the BB preflop, bet calling the flop and then raising the turn have us beat. Why would we jam?

Preflop is a marginal call, and if you're not sure about how to play middle pair against the field here, probably points to a fold. When the BB raises 3 players and two broadways hit, I don't think you should be thinking about jamming. I don't get the flop raise, and after he raises us on the turn, I think you should dump it. In a steal or HU situation, I don't mind making a play on some flops with second pair, but not here.

As played, after the other two guys folded to villain's bet, I think calling the flop is OK, seeing what develops on later streets, but I wouldn't be jamming it any event.
