Default Trying to get a grip (Bunch of hands, questions etc.)

I just started playing some 11s on stars and the STT's are pretty interesting. Anyway, just came off a HUGE downswing in LHE cash games, and I hoped to find a new beginning.

First off, I pretty much know the basics to these games, save a few. Is there a lot of varience in these 1 table tourneys? What about in, say, the 3 table or 20 tables ones? What about a standard HU sng? I really dislike varience so hopefully there won't be too much.

(get ready for this one)
How many buyins is a good roll? Im starting with 150 now.

Anyway, I picked up TourneyManager, and played about 15 or so of the 11s on stars. Here are some hands I felt were difficult situations.

1.

SB checks, Hero checks, UTG+1 bets t60 (All-In), SB folds, Hero calls t60.

Here, my opponent (SB) disconnected and folded... but what would be the correct line if he bet right out, or check raised after seeing my check?

Final Pot: t555

Also, I seemed to bubble a lot. Are there any basic guidelines to follow when playing as a short-stack or deep-stack to help prevent this?

Any other help for a beginning STTer would be greatly appreciated.

hand 1- you can call for set value but i usually fold this.

hand 2- fold

hand 3- fold to the reraise

hand 4- fine , you could call with those odds but folding cant be bad

bubbling- buy sngpt or sngwhiz and read the FAQ for some info on ICM

Hand #3 wtf would you fold to that reraise? That makes absolutely no sense, if your going to play like that your better off open folding, you're reducing you're hand value to little more than 2 random cards. Are STTF people THAT scared of actual poker?

1 Call
2 Easy fold with AQ here. I usually fold to a single standard raise in these spots (but not after a mini raise when I have position)
3 Just call the reraise.
4 Call this flop bet. You're getting very good odds, you still have a strong hand and you have position.
