Default Commerce 10/20 NL - Lost my stack

my stack: about $1200

I had AhJh in BB with a couple of limpers in front of me, putting $70 or $90 in the pot. I had been pretty aggressive so far, and I tried to take the pot with a $150 raise. I got two callers from behind, player A who is a semi-passive fish, and Player B who plays fairly tight but will throw in connectors and other promising hands.

Flop: K/J/x rainbow.

I check. Player A checks. Player B makes like he wants to bet, then hesitates and checks instead.

Turn: x.

At this point I figure I have the best hand and that Player B has a lower pair, or that he has K/J giving him two pair and he's drawing it out. I bet $150. Player A folds. Player B hesitates and calls.

River: A

I bet $300, he thinks for a second and then moves all-in. I called, which even then I knew was a bad idea, but I didn't know where I was at and I just hoped he had K/J.

What do you guys think? What does this hand indicate about my game that I need to improve?

Bet more on the turn: betting 1/3 pot is almost never correct. The river you have to call: you're getting too good of a price. Sucks you ran into TQ

This is never a bluff on the river and that's basically the only thing you beat unless the guy is a megafish.

OP,

Leave the results out next time. I know you didn't actually post them but when you say, "which even then I knew was a bad idea", it all but tells us you ran into the straight, as FF already alluded to.
