Did i play this too bad?
NL 600 6 max
Villain is BB with 877$, he is quite loose ( 68/20 over 122 hands) Hero is SB with 598$ everyone folds, i hold Qh Qs and i raise to 24$ , villain calls flop comes Qd 8s 7c (48$) i bet 40$ since i c-bet almost all the flops he calls turn is 7h ( 128$) now, no draw scares me, i bet 65$ to induce a call from hands like JT , Qx,etc.. villain min raises to 130$ i call river Kc ( 388$) i decide to use a weak lead , betting 130$, representing AQ or KQ. Villain calls Results in white My opponent shows 88! I felt so sick . I doubt he put me on Queens, i guess he was overly passive and failed to notice that. Anyway i guess i shouldn't make the tricky move of a blocking bet against those passive opponents in the future . |

Re: Did i play this too bad?
I would have re-raised the turn, because you're not going to get any more action on the river from anything besides 7x or better when you call anyway. I would think he had a 7, and hope he put me on AQ. Raise and hope he's strong enough to come along.

Re: Did i play this too bad?
Flop bet is good. I think you misplayed the turn - repop the turn to $300 or even minreraise back to $260. If he has air and folds, so be it.
And don't post the results next time. |

Re: Did i play this too bad?
Raise turn enough that you have a 2/3 - 3/4 PSB left for river
