Re: a couple of hands NL 3/6
Hand 1: I would call and feel pretty confident. I seems like he was looking to gamble with a drawing hand on the button, and he either flopped a flush or straight draw. Besides, as I understand it, you'd have to call $227 to win a $630 pot. Call.
Hand 2: I might have popped it a little on the button to clear out the blinds and help better define the hand of an UTG limper. But just limping, the raise on the flop is good (although I might have made it $100). A minimum re-raise is very strange indeed, because your raise sort of looks like a spade draw raise, and he wouldn't want to price you in if he had a set. It seems like a kind of defensive raise, like maybe he limped UTG with AK hoping to get raised, and now he's trying to find out if it's good. Or maybe he did the same with AA and is trying to trap??? In either case, I would probably just set him all in and see what happened. Very reasonabe chance Aces up is good there. |

1.) i would call, villain seems like a donk just from pf action.
2.) call and reeval on turn. raise pre. |

Re: a couple of hands NL 3/6
1st hand, very grimy spot. You can't beat anything, but you're getting like 3.5-1. Maybe he's retarded and has Tx, or is pushing just a heart draw, I'd probably wind up calling.
Hand 2, I probably flat call and get the money in on a blank turn regardless. |

Re: a couple of hands NL 3/6
Chevy, you forgot BOTH players turn action when figuring the pot. Pot is $100x2 + $24 + $6 preflop = $230.
Flop gets bet $200 and then $447 all in, both these bets go into the pot, so $230+$200+$447=$877. Hero has to call $247 more into a pot of $877, which is something like 3.6-1. |

Re: a couple of hands NL 3/6
ok, thks for the answers... results
in hand 1 i folded... i had very good pots odds, was about to call but finally said to myself " come on, you're beated" and push the fold button. I asked villain later for his hand, he said he had pocket queens... i think he was sincere, but the fold definetively must be -EV in the long run but sometimes i trust my instinct, dunno if it's a leak... Hand 2 i used your line and your thinking chevy...but instead of AA thinked more about A8s. A lot of time i've seen these bodog donks min reraise with AK in a Axx board, so i thought "if you have A8 you got me" and pushed. He quickly called and effectively he hold AK. Won that pot. Now a question about the raise pf with A4s. Is it an automatic raise because we have position. Would you still make it with 3 limpers? I actually always raise a hand when i'm first to enter a pot but with 1 limper i usually limp behind with my weaker hands ( small or medium pairs, suited connectors etc). Is that a leak? Do you raise 44 in CO after 2 limpers for example? |

Your flop bet in hand 1 is soooo gross.
