if i had the money to do rebuys, id push any 2

its a semi-win/win/win/semi-loss situation

semi-win: you get called bya bigger stack and lose. you double rebuy at3k and end rebuy period at 5k after adding on

win: called bya bigger stack and win. you double up to 6k (or more) and youre at 8k adding on.

win: called by a smaller stack and win: up to 5500, around 7500 at break

semi-loss: called by smaller stack and lose. down to around 800 and can only single rebuy, going to break at 4300

but its not a big loss

any 2.

poisoned -

this is a sat not a normal rebuy. this one u can rebuy for 1k chips not 1500 ad the addon is only 1k.

I wouldn't give up the 1k that we have above a double rebuy for a shot to get our stack in potentially dominated.

You can rebuy for 2k in chips. I am guessing this becomes alot better push if the payout structure is top heavy and not a sat.

if you can rebuy for 2k chips it makes the decision much easier to push any 2, so i like it

what you dont have in those calculations is the difference the extra 3k is going to do you after the rebuy period. its not as big of a difference as you think, spending an extra $20 to get whateer EV difference this is sucks when you consider that the prize at the end of the road is only a $162 seat.

its not like a regular tourney where you can pwn people with a big stack, even if you do hit this double you are push fold within 10 minutes anyway.
