He knows me from cardrunners and played a few thousands hands with me.
Thought he might c/r here sometimes with a lower ace to represent AK. Maybe even as a pure bluff though I am not sure about that.

Well, given how you played the hand I don't see how you can fold. You checked the flop to possibly induce bluffs so now you should call. Your hand is face up as KK/QQ unless he's seen you make a check here before.

You really think a good player can't see threw that you would check an ace here? This might be tight but I like a fold here.

wouldn't the flop check more represent QQ, KK

and since the turn was checked too he's trying to protect his underpair.

I don't think I could fold this as played

Ya but your also checking behind kk qq and jj here. I mean this is a spot where hero is probably checking behind almost everything.

I checked behind in order to mix up my play. He know I am betting over 90% here maybe higher.

Imo that's a really bad idea if you don't know what to do in the situations mixing up your play generates.
