Playing 99 when 3 handed with one player almost blinded out?
Here's the situation: It's a $1.75 Turbo.
PokerStars No-Limit Hold'em Tourney, Big Blind is t1200 (3 handed) internettexasholdem.com SB (t2360) BB (t13925) Hero (t10715) Preflop: Hero is Button with 9[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img], 9[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img]. <font color="#CC3333">Hero raises to t3600</font>, <font color="#666666">1 fold</font>, <font color="#CC3333">BB raises to t13850</font>, Hero ??? Is it correct to call here? The prizes are 1st gets 40%, 2nd 30%, and 3rd 20%. BB has been betting a lot pre-flop, stealing a lot of the other player's blinds. |

Call if you like money.

You reeeeally need to open push here to avoid this (but you should be push/folding anyways in normal circumstances). I suck at ICM but I'm pretty sure this is still an easy call.

<echo> Open push </echo>
When the action comes back to you, it's a trivially easy call 3-handed. |

Thanks guys. I ended up having the better hand going into the flop. I guess I agree open pushing should of been done.
Should I be open pushing any pair in these circumstances? |

Open push here. Once you get in the money get even more aggressive.
