I'd go by the image you think you have at the time. If you have been aggressive and been seen semibluffing or bluffing lately, go ahead and bet; if you're recent image is conservative or rocky or if you've shown down a lot of winners lately and they have the fear in them, a check might be warrented.

This board is as dry as it could get. Chances someone hit are very small. I would slowplay here.

Was it a loose table? If that's the case I would bet it. People always see reasons to call with q9,t8 and stuff like that. I usually don't like slowplaying in multiway pots because the only thing you accomplish is missing bets you otherwise would have got most of the time. People also don't believe you have a J when you bet it because they expect you to slowplay it.

If table was tight and more fit or fold a slowplay would probably be better though, since there are no real draws and a 2 which probably didn't connect with anyone's hand.

At an unknown table I bet at .5/1 and check at 5/10.

If I was sitting at a table where I couldn't bet this flop and expect at least one of them to peel with nothing, I made a mistake by posting the BB to begin with.

That is a pretty frigin great post. With that many people just bet out, less players you can slowplay if you think someone will hit and play hard against you.
