why not raise PF, and fold if he re-raises preflop... and fold if he calls there and raises your flop bet.... that would simplify it no?

You basically have no idea where you're at. He could do this with a mid pair too hoping you don't have anything strong enough to stick around.

I think you're representing the nit here. No raises anywhere and you also assume he'll only raise UTG with QQ+ five handed? Even a supernit would raise 88+ UTG five handed. and he would probably keep firing on a board like that where he doesn't think you've improved. Even if he does have you beat in this spot, if you consistently play like this you will lose a lot of cash by personifying the weaktight player.

I think you should lead the flop or check raise the flop all in. If is that big a nit you should check fold, but that appears nearly impossible given that flop. Lead the flop and prob get it all in.

raising flop sucks so bad here, c/c flop is the way to go for sure....on the turn I guess leading has merits against a nit but if he's good your hand will be transparent....c/c or c/f are reasonable and given your read I think you played it ok, although I'd likely call the turn and then c/f the river against a guy like this since an overpair 5 handed is still pretty big (unless he's a huuuuuuuuge nit)
