Default 3/6 really weird flop and river situation

SH 3/6. I'm in the SB with A5s. One raise and one cold caller to me. I call as does the BB.

Flop comes down 7-5-5. I consider betting out but check instead.

Now BB bets. Initial raiser reraises. cold caller three bets!

So I'm staring at three bets cold coming back to me after my initial check. If I cap here am I just flipping my cards over? Should I cap?

OK, let's assume I do and everyone calls.

Turn is a blank, I bet out and everyone calls again.

River is a 7. Now what?

PF call is pretty bad in a 1/3 structure. Flop cap is fine. River is a bet and call one back to you, but not two.

Does the .5 make any difference here? It's 1.5/3.

I agree I have to cap here but I really hate just turning over my hand like that. The flop action and the fact that everyone called the cap just confused the heck out of me. I have no idea where everyone is on this hand.

Which led to...river decision. I think everyone knows I have a five but it has to be somewhat likely a seven is out there too. My gut told me someone had to have a seven here. Maybe not the original raiser but almost certainly the BB, right?
As John Cuzak said in High Fidelity, "turns out my guts have sh!t for brains."

I checked. Everyone else did too. 88, 99, TT in order. I win.

Frankly I was shocked TT didn't three bet preflop. He's been fairly smart and aggressive and had he done so I'd have folded.

Hey offsoot -
I like your posts usually but bet/call is kinda spewing, no?
Yeah, the PF call is bad and I don't think the flop matters.

This river really sucks (and is difficult). What i was thinking is that when u don't bet, nobody is putting in any bets when u're ahead. But they are putting in bets when u are behind. At least when u bet, u are pretty much assured to get calls from pairs and possibly ace high hands. I would call one raise on the off chance that someone is retarded in a huge pot or has the case 5. I guess b/f is possible with reads. Regardless, i don't really like the idea of checking the river. You are almost guaranteed ahead of two hands that will call the river bet.

edit - btw, i didn't see the results (i tend to read smaller posts rather than big ones and saw one that directly responded to me). Also, don't post the results yet, it's way too early.

Thanks to both of you for your replies.

The flop probably doesn't matter in that, call three bets cold or cap, I'm pretty much announcing a big hand. At least with a cap I'll get more money in, which I did.

I'm still debating that river action. Some part of me said "do NOT bet this river!" which I didn't. But if I had spent any time thinking about it, I had to be ahead of at least two out of three of the opponents here. That calls for a bet, right?

cap, a lot of money already in the pot so disguising the hand isnt worth it, check/call river
