Odd play from villain, river decision
I am new to this table and site too, so villain canīt have read on me. I have been playing a little more agressive than table in general pre-flop this far (maybe three orbits total), but thatīs just because I have been getting nice starting hands. I havenīt showed any hands - missed almost every board.
Villain seems kinda aggressive too, but I have zero read yet, so I donīt know if heīs good or bad. Heīs line in this hand is very odd IMO, I havenīt seen this line almost ever to developing board like this. I was really pondering like 50/50 between raising and folding on the river. looks fine. Once the flush hits I would be done with this hand.

Re: Odd play from villain, river decision
I decided to fold, because I had no reads (dunno how big of a calling station villain is), but raising was very tempting option after board hit running sixes and I held one K and one Q and I had raised pre-flop.

Re: Odd play from villain, river decision
I play super ABC against unkowns. I have blown alot of money running bluffs on people I have never played with. I agree this could be a good time for a bluff raise but I woudl wait for a read that villian was capable of folding.

Re: Odd play from villain, river decision
how about putting a bet on the turn to see where you stand, if he check/raises you, you can get away from it he can possibly lay it down, thinking that you have the nut flush....

Re: Odd play from villain, river decision
I am actually glad I didnīt bluff raise in this spot. A few hands later it was raised pot, flop was AQJ, villain bet, other guy raised (smaller stack, like 3/4 buy-in stack), villain called, turn blanked, other guy potted all-in and villain from this hand called with AQJX for "three pair". Other guy obv. had KTXX and doubled up.
