Default Counting Outs Over Cards How many do I have

Okay so this is a live game no hand history converters.
Its a passive game usually 4 seeing the flop not a lot of chips flying around the table.
3/6 Oaks Club 10 handed
UTG opens
I am UTG-2 and am dealt A [img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] K [img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] I raise
UTG-3 thinks for a bit then calls
everyone else folds including the blinds, and UTG calls.
Three of us see the flop (6 small bets) rake = blinds
4 [img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] 3 [img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] 4 [img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img]
UTG checks I check UTG-3 bets
UTG calls and I call. pot now has 9 small bets
Turn brings 2 [img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img]

again UTG checks and I check and UTG-3 bets
UTG calls ...???
Okay how many outs do I have? I it worth calling. (13 small bets/ 2small bets to call(yeah I know 1 big bet)) 6.5:1
The way I see it I have up to 10 outs.
An Ace (3) A king (3) and a Five (4)

I don't think anyone is on a heart draw, and I don't think there is a fullhouse out there.

So of course I call
What do you think?

I think your overcounting your outs. If these players are loose then there is the possibility that your Ace and 5 outs give somebody a straight. And a heart draw is still a possibilty (maybe thats why UTG called the turn) Also you could be reverse dominated here by an Ace rag hand.

Also, bet the flop. Checking and calling screams two high cards, might as well just turn your cards over.

Please bet that flop. You could easily still have the best hand and they can't fold if you don't bet. It also makes the hand easier to play. Also, 10 outs is too much. I think it's closer to the 3-6 range.

Against 2 opponents I would give myself 3 outs for the OCs. HU I would give myself 4.

Our str8 draw is to the idiot end and we are only using one card. A 6 in one of their hands may not be likely but we have to concerned about splitting the pot with another Ace if a 5 comes. I would only give 2 outs for the 5.

Without any real evidence of us drawing dead I think that we don't have to deduct outs for the paired board. The BDFD is a remote possibility but I would not deduct outs for it with only 2 opponents

IMO we have 5 outs which would make this a marginal call. We would need to extract another 1.5 BBs on the river if we hit.

Well you are right I was overcounting my outs.

The river was 9 [img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img]

And we checked out.

UGT-1 turned over AK, I turned over AK and UTG-3 turns over 55!

I had zero outs to win and two outs to tie.

As an Ace gives UTG-3 a straight
and the 5's while giving me a straight give UTG-3 a Full House.
And I tie with the remaining two Kings.

So this was quite a lesson in learning to count outs, not only do you have to consider what you have in your hand and what possible cards give you something, but also what do the other players hold, are they conterfitting you? And do cards that make your hand make their hand? etc., etc., etc.
