I got CRed all in on the river, can you put him on a hand here?
5/10 NL, in reading the recent CR river bluff thread, this hand came to mind. Villian is basically an unkown to me, 24/16, very TAGish. Haven't been playing very long when this one comes along. What hand do you think SB has here? Very tough river decision, classic example of how a thinish river value bets can come back to bite.
Nevermind my play throughout the hand, I'm well aware I may have botched it up a bit, what you think his holdings are? 'what do you think his most likely holdings are?'
possible a set checked all 3 streets. KJ comes to mind, 88 might make a bold bluff. |

this doesn't look like a boat at all, unless villain is incredibly creative.

This looks like QQ or 99 to me a lot. If it's a bluff, I'd say it's 88. Definitely not KJ given preflop unless he is very bad. Could also be something like 89.

There's really not a lot of "air" hands on this board, imo, except 88, which has already been mentioned.
Also, have you ever bet 300 on the river here with the nuts? I'm just curious. |

Re: I got CRed all in on the river, can you put him on a hand here?
No, I wondered the same thing when reading this, I don't like a raise out of the BB with QTs. I understand you may think they're both weak pre but if you get called, you're not in a good spot at all.
As played fold river and it's tough to put him on a hand with this line, but seems to me like it could be a bizarre FH. As stated above the only real "air" hands that you beat would be 88 or QJ. |
